HELP US SAVE LIVES
Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in over 600 medications, most widely known as Tylenol. So, while it is considered generally safe, it has a significantly smaller margin of error in dosing than other pain medications and so people often double dose which leads to an unintended overdose. This unintended overdose can have dire consequences and lead to serious medical conditions including liver failure, acute liver failure and death. Because of the potential dangers with acetaminophen, and our personal story of tragedy, we founded Catie’s Cause, (501c3 public charity), to Build Awareness and Combat Heartache. Our goal is to educate about safe use of acetaminophen and share wellness opportunities that lead to less use of over-the-counter pain medications. And there is so much to learn, which is why we encourage you to follow our social media.
